Hi! We’re David and Danielle.
We’re the people behind The Upper West Side Post, and we’re so glad you’re here.
David works as a home health Occupational Therapist visiting Seniors between 110th and 72nd in their homes helping them to restore function and return to meaningful activity. He has been so inspired by the many families he has so intimately come to know in the Upper West Side. He creates the original watercolor artwork for every issue. His paintings are inspired by the little moments observed during commuting walks between homes, gardens, architecture and changing seasons. His favorite quote is this, “Man by the use of his hands as energized by mind and will has the power to effect the state of his own health.”
Danielle is the photographer behind each month’s collectible print. She has a gift for finding beauty and capturing light in ordinary places. She is an incredible writer and her political science career is what brought us out to the Upper West Side in the first place.
Thank you for becoming part of our growing community.
We can’t wait to share a little piece of the Upper West Side with you each month.
With gratitude,
David & Danielle
